Hello Everyone,

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Robin Livingston and I am an author. I am also a wife and the mother of three married children. I have seven grandchildren so far and expect to have at least one more. That makes me rich indeed.

I’ve been a Christian for 40 years now and life has been an adventure. God knows the plans He has for me but I have often been surprised at where He has taken me over the years. I have lived in three countries and visited more. I have been a Registered Nurse, a missionary, and a teacher as well as a storyteller and a writer. I love history and once dreamed of becoming an archeologist. Instead, I find myself combining research with my vivid imagination to bring history to life for the children I work with. I never dreamed I would one day be publishing books.

I grew up in the mining communities of Northern Ontario and I still think of the north as home even though I haven’t lived there in a long time. I currently reside with my husband in the countryside near Elora, Ontario. You can visit my website or contact me at robin [at] rklivingston [dot] com . I’d love to hear from you.

Elijah's Boy Cover2Elijah’s Boy
It wasn’t easy for orphans living in the Samaria of King Ahab and Jezebel, his Queen. For the boy, Nathaniel, survival was what mattered most…until he became the servant of Elijah, the mysterious prophet of Yahweh. It was a dangerous time for anyone who still served the ancient God of the Israelites, particularly when serving Yahweh meant defying the King. Was Elijah’s God worth dying for? Nathaniel wasn’t sure. This is the story of a young boy’s journey to faith at a time in history when taking a stand for God could cost him his life.

Elijah’s Boy is a Biblical historical novel written for children 10 and older.

“Eyes Wide Open…When life happens you want to see it coming!” by R. K. Livingston is a collection of short anecdotes that span the lives of four generations in her somewhat unconventional family. It takes a humorous and lighthearted look at the joys and misadventures that are such an integral part of our everyday experience. From lost boys to frog legs and beaver tails there is something for everyone and strangely enough, it’s all true. It’s entertaining and easy to read, a perfect accompaniment to that morning cup of tea or coffee.
